Charity Cards and Accessories

There are so many charities that do fantastic things but how do you choose the right one?

Even a small amount of money can help towards a charity so why not share it out!

I have/had a poll on our Facebook page asking which Charity I should raise money for, leading at the moment is Cancer Research UK and Diabetes UK and have made some phone charms for these charities, I hope to make them more creative and get more resources so stay tuned!

Good News is I have been able to raise a little through these so far.

I also think supporting Local Charities should be a priority, so I have donated 54 of my first cards to help raise money for the local scouts.

Also for Cancer Research you can pick up some empty card bags with Cancer Research £1 Written on the top banner, A6 In size at your local Cancer Research Store. The only rules are that it must be A6 In size, with envelope and be blank inside. All money for it goes to charity, brilliant cause if you love making cards and have no space to keep them!
Here are just a couple that will be on there way to our local store next week.

You can all do your bit for charity, it doesn't have to be a fortune, using left over scraps to create something will help, even selling your old unwanted items and raising money. Or just giving your unwanted stuff to charity shops. Those who cannot donate in that way, just watching the adverts or spreading the word helps a great deal!

  18. I totally agree that as crafters we should use our passion for our craft to give back to the community from time to time and I have been involved in an number of efforts doing just that. Your cards and phone charms all look fabulous. I look forward to following your blog and wish you every success with your fundraising efforts. xx

  21. Fab card you have made. I donate all my cards to the local animal rescue charity, they are only little and independant and get no funding aside from that raised themselves, so I feel I am helping whilst still enjoying my hobby.
